Every day, thousands of people request to be named as an additional insured on someone else’s Commercial General Liability (CGL) insurance. They may want to be held harmless and be added as an additional insured for ongoing operations, completed operations, or “your work.” They might request coverage provided on a primary and noncontributory basis along with a waiver of subrogation. WHAT DOES ALL OF THIS MEAN?

In this class, attorney, author, and National Alliance Faculty Member Dwight M. Kealy will address the additional insured endorsement questions addressed by insurance professionals every day. Topics Include:

  • Why individuals and entities want to be named as an additional insured.
  • Problems associated with additional insured status for the named insured and additional insured.
  • CG 20 10 (11 85 and beyond) Your Work, Ongoing Operations, and Completed Operations
  • Blanket Additional Insured Endorsements
